• Key information HR professionals should understand about Social Security programs and services.
• An overview of Social Security benefits, including retirement, disability, spouse, and survivor benefits.
• Resources and guidance for employees who are approaching retirement, including steps they should take before filing for benefits.

Our Speaker:

Kelli Jackson

Kelli Jackson is the Acting District Manager for the Elizabethtown Social Security office.  Kelli has been with SSA for 23 years, serving as a Generalist Claims Specialist and Operations Supervisor in Bowling Green, then Assistant District Manager and Acting District Manager in Elizabethtown.  Kelli is a Hilltopper, graduating from Western Kentucky University with a bachelor’s degree in financial management.  She and her husband Eric reside in Elizabethtown with their two children.

Garett Pennington is an Operations Supervisor for the Elizabethtown Social Security office. Garett has been with SSA for 17 years, serving as a Generalist Claims Specialist, Management Support Specialist, and Operations Supervisor in Elizabethtown for over a decade. Garett is a graduate of the University of Louisville with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. He and his wife Liz reside just outside Elizabethtown with their three boys.
